We see these quite often, don't like to swear and claim
the high ground by calling everyone a troll whom use some form of language.

I've sworn plenty of times so I guess I'm a troll. Is this the new terms for emotional non
robot human beings who never make mistakes or react to life? We are not machines. We are not at liberty to hide our emotions
and ignore our mistakes. We can't hide
from our successes or failures. We are
not machines.
Throughout history we have constantly had scientists,
faith believers and even phyilosophus tell us we are human beings. Tell us that unlike machines we have a
choice, a self-awareness, We can react badly
or positively. Even the most wisest
people can react emotionally; again we are not machines.
So I'm going to talk about the new polite trolls. They will carefully word their articles to
bash very calmly the people who don't agree with them. They often use quite big words to show how
intellectual they are yet they seem to be lacking humanity in their
approach. Humanity is all sides of the
pyramid. Not just one side of a coin - we are human beings.
They often act like we should calmly listen and also take
it up the tailpipe that their opinion is fact.
A troll is a simple thing: someone that posts not to debate in anyway
but to gain a reaction. That's not someone
who necessarily swears or ridicules. I
know I'm far from perfect and some of my posts can come across as a little
whiny or angry. Let's face it I am human
and we all are. That's a fact with zero argument.
We see trolls often, they are the ones who will ridicule
a disabled child behind a hidden profile.
They will tell someone to go commit suicide just because they dyed their
hair. They are not the ones who throw an
emotional response or disagree with you.
Call it what you will, they are not trolls.
So next time you call someone a troll. Are you actually
being the mature grown up one ? I don't think you are. You're just simply sitting on a high horse
and by constantly throwing the insult of troll you've become the very thing you
claim to be against. So congratulations.
If you call someone a troll to gain a reaction.
That's just the same as a....
you got it TROLL.
This isn't actually about the "Polite Troll", I
don't think these people are trolls at all.
There's only one type of troll and I've already described him. You can word your tweets and the blogs in
pages of fancy writing but it doesn't change what a troll is. Otherwise you may find that we are all
trolls. Would you say a war hero is a troll
because when I grew up I had a few nasty words shouted in my ear because of a
German on TV. So a man who was in WW2
swearing in real life not on Twitter is he a troll? No course not. It's an emotional outburst, it was human.
What about the protests? Education ?
Are we calling angry protestors trolls? often they call
out to angry politicians This message is intended solely for the named
recipient(s). If you are not the intended recipient(s), you are notified that
disclosing, copying, distributing or taking any action in reliance on the
contents of this information is strictly prohibited.
What about the miner strikes? Are we calling them trolls
after seeing their jobs and lively hoods torn to pieces with little to no
notice.
Some trolls are a
bit like bullies but so are those who call out the trolls> They claim they are interested in debates
while they tell you politely you're wrong, they tell you they value your
opinion while they tell you you're blocked, they tell you not to use language
while calling you a troll. As far as I
am concerned calling someone a troll is also an emotional response similar to
using the word jerk or you berk.
What's the difference between calling someone a jerk to a
troll? Nothing, both are insults and if both hurt your feelings perhaps you
need to grow a back bone because life is not going to protect your
feelings. If you find yourself easily
insulted perhaps that's not society you need to look at but yourself. I can speak from experience on this one; I
learnt to have a backbone and to stand up for myself while others did nothing
to help.
We've all had to deal with bullies at some stage and
people who call out trolls are not much different. There's those bullies who are actually
intelligent, they know when to push you, what to say and when to randomly come
right for you. They push when no one is
looking, say snarky comments while no one heard it and they know exactly what
to say to get to you. They are also like
footballers when fouled, when you finally push back they roll over crying in
pain as if you've just broken their leg when all you've done is one single
nudge. These people who call out trolls
are no different, You can't sit there
calling people trolls all day and act like you are innocent.
Perhaps you grew up always being baby cuddled by your
mother, perhaps you was a spoilt child - who knows. Hypocrite.
They can dish it for England but they have no backbone,
hiding behind Twitter and social media.
The kind of person that won't ever be married unless he was lucky enough
to find someone very like him.
We all know that person.
Can tell other people they are poor at their jobs but struggles to hear
it back. Hypocrite.
So next time you use the word troll; try and remember
that they are one kind and only one.
They will tear your posts apart looking for anything they can get a
reaction out of, even when they lose a debate they will revert to other
subjects but their main focus will be one thing - to get a reaction. They are not the ones who have emotional
outbursts. There's no such thing as the
polite troll either, they are just simple people calling others trolls just to
get one thing - a reaction. So although
I've named this post The Polite Troll - they are not real. You are just an emotional human being
responding.
